We worked with the Theban Mapping Project at the American University in Cairo to improve their installation of Arches version 3.
Armed Forces Retirement Home
We worked with PRESERVE/scapes to create an Arches customization for cultural heritage management at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Washington D.C. Our improvements included activity and asset tracking to streamline compliance (Section 106, NEPA, etc), as well as the addition of many historic basemaps.
We worked with the Cane River National Heritage Area to create this inventory as an interactive exploratory tool for local residents and visitors. We incorporated a large cemetery database and created and published historic map overlays.
Through a partnership with Valley Stewardship Network in Viroqua, WI, we had the opportunity to develop and teach an Introduction to QGIS course. The course materials are hosted in a GitHub repo, so anyone can use or contribute to them.
Florida Public Archaeology Network
We love getting the public involved in historical and archeological preservation. We used Arches to create a new mapping and database system for FPAN's Heritage Monitoring Scoutsprogram--a citizen-based archaeological monitoring program.
For Vernon Trails we created a large foldout brochure map of Vernon County, WI. The map shows detailed information about 12 bike routes, including road surface information and elevation profiles. The map is free around Viroqua, WI.
